This 4 oz bag will yield 16 oz of syrup!
Ingredients: Dried Elderberries, Orange Peels, Ginger root, Echinacea Leaves, Cinnamon & Cloves.
What you will need? A fine mesh strainer or cheese cloth, a large pot and 1 Cup of honey.
What to do? Add all the contents of inside the bag and 3 cups of water into a large pot and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and let cook until reduced by half, approx 45 minutes. Allow to cool then strain into a bowl using either a fine mesh strainer or cheese cloth making sure to press out as much as possible. Add the honey, mix well then place into a mason jar and refrigerate up to two months.
How much to take? The recommended dose for daily immune support is: Adults: 2 tsp (10 ml) per day.
