Cannabis Salve Care Guide
Instructions: To get started, be sure to test a small spot on your skin. As with any new topicals it’s best to make sure you don’t have any reactions before applying to a large area. After you have done so it’s a good idea to use a spoon to get the product out of the container to avoid cross contamination and bacteria growth in the product. Next, apply it to the affected area and rub it in well. After the first application you may notice relief in as little as 10 minutes but it will come back usually within an hour. This is normal. Reapply every time the pain comes back. The goal is to reduce the inflammation entirely and one application isn’t enough to undo all the damage! Most people find themselves applying it 6-10 times a day for the first couple of weeks. This is how CBD works, you need to build it up plus break down the inflammation. I can’t stress enough that this is a healing process, one or two applications will not be enough.
*For external use only. Keep out of mouth and eyes. Keep out of reach of children and pets. If using prescription medication be sure to consult your physician before use. Color and smell may vary, this depends on the parts of the plant used but it’s always the same amount in weight regardless. If your salve arrives melted or if it melts in a warm car, this is normal. The melting point of coconut oil is only 70 degrees. Just pop it in the fridge for 1-2 hours until solidified. Separation between the oils and beeswax is also common. You can microwave the salve in intervals of 30 seconds without the metal top on if it’s in the glass jar, stirring in between until completely melted then let it sit on the counter until cooled, out of reach of children and pets. Be careful, hot oil burns are NO fun. Thank You,
