What is Cannabis Pain Salve?

Cannabis Pain Salve is a natural topical you apply externally to where your pain is. CBD has been shown to safely reduce inflammation which is what causes pain. My Cannabis Pain Salve is 100% Homemade by myself in small batches with plant material. By using plant material you get many other cannabinoids that regular CBD topicals don't have.

Can it get me high or fail a drug screen?

The short answer is no. There have been many studies on this to prove that it can't. Even if the topical was loaded with THC, which it's not... topically it's cant do that just like pouring alcohol on your skin wont get you buzzed or fail a field sobriety test. It cant enter your blood stream that way. For a more in depth explanation click here.

What is the MG of CBD in the Salve?

There isn't one because it's not the same as a CBD topical that has a MG listed on the side of the container. Yes the active ingredients in my products are CBD aka Cannabinoids but What they use and what I use are completely different things. They use a chemically extracted CBD with something like Ethanol, Butane or CO2 known as isolate. I extract straight from home grown plants into the oil base without corrosive chemicals.

Keep in mind that a MG just tells you the weight of CBD added like a teaspoon. This does not tell you the potency, concentration or quality.

When not using MG's of isolate I could have my product tested every batch for a percentage of CBD in each jar and if this were an accurate process I would absolutely do it but even 3rd party testing facilities are being accused of being bought out by bigger companies so their product had more CBD or to claim underdogs like myself have lower. With trusted testing companies the average jar can fluctuate by 20% when tested several times. That may not sound like a lot but when you’re talking about a 500mg topical, it could ring in anywhere between 400mg and 600mg. That’s a big difference to a customer who solely believes that the higher the number, the better it will work.

So I let my reviews speak for my product and I stay out of the CBD politics.

How do I use the salve?

Because this is a more lengthy explanation, I made a separate page dedicated to the instructions of salve here.

Is it legal?

CBD use is legal in almost all states now. Some towns have their own laws but almost everywhere, CBD topicals are totally legal for use.

Can I fly with it?

That's unfortunately a question for the TSA. Each town, state and airline have their own laws, rules and policies that are forever changing.

Can the Cannabis Pain Salve be used on pets?

All the ingredients are natural, in theory as long as it's the unscented it should be okay but it's always best to consult a veterinarian first.

Can it have interactions with medications?

Because I'm not a doctor I can't legally answer this question. You must consult your physician or a pharmacy technician.

How much CBD oil should I take?

This is a tricky questions which is why I don't put it on the bottle. How much you take can depend on so many things like if it's for anxiety or pain also BMI. I always suggest starting off with  1/4 of a dropper once a day and slowly increasing it over the following week up to two full droppers a day until results are reached. I say this because some people get the same benefits from a 1/4 dropper as others who may take more. Why take more and waste the product and money!

My salve is a different color?

This happens, a lot. The reason for this is the how dry the material (plant) are when I process them. If I use more leaf, you will get a brighter green color where as sticks, stems and roots can cause a lighter brown color. The color does not affect the potency.

My salve is liquid?

Very common problem. I don't like to use non organic stabilizers like xanthan gum in my products. Many people are actually allergic to xanthan gum and other stabilizers which keep products from separating.  If it turns to liquid it's still very safe to use and has not lost it's potency. You can prevent this by keeping it in the refrigerator or if you don't mind the consistency, just leave it as it is. Warmer months or warmer homes will cause this to happen more often.

My order might be lost?

Sometimes packages get put on the wrong delivery truck just like luggage at the airport. If your tracking hasn't updated or it says it's in a different state, just try to give it a couple days. It's very rare for a package to go missing completely, in all my years of shipping products, only one has ever disappeared. You can track your online orders using your order number and email here.
